Alycia (Barlow) Zink, PhD is currently a staff psychologist in the Outpatient PTSD Clinic of VA Puget Sound Health Care System, American Lake Division. Dr. Zink has a strong interest in Evidence Based Psychotherapies, particularly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She has been serving as a national consultant for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Depression (ACT-D) in the VA since 2012 and became one of the first Regional Trainers for the VA in 2017. Dr. Zink provides trainings, consultation, and supervision for clinical staff and psychology trainees on the effective implementation of ACT with Veterans presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns. Dr. Zink completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2007 from California School or Professional Psychology, completed internship at the John Dingell VAMC, and a two-year postdoctoral residency in neuropsychology at Northern California HCS, Martinez before joining the VA as a staff psychologist in 2010.
