Details: Suicide Prevention Training for Healthcare Providers: Suicide and Self-Directed Violence, Risk Assessment, and Management This training meets State of Washington training requirements for psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, physicians, PAs, nurses, and MFTs for six hours.
Objectives: 1. Become familiar with suicide risk factors and national statistics regarding risk 2. Become knowledgeable of current best-practices in suicide risk assessment, screening, management, and treatment 3. Learn about the latest technologies used in suicide prevention and risk management 4. Become knowledgeable of unique and common suicide risk factors and management in Veteran and Military populations
Parking: $3/day on campus (pay at the Kiosk in front of the Colin Education Hall)
Free CEs & Clock Hours: Workshop certificate documents hours of instruction toward Continuing Education. Clock-hour forms are available free upon completion of the workshop.
