Details: On December 12 & 13 the 9th Annual Seattle Stand Down for Veterans will welcome veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability across King County to the Georgetown Campus of South Seattle College to connect with essential services. This training opportunity will assist Stand Down volunteers and service providers with an understanding of the challenges vulnerable veterans face throughout the year.

Objectives: 1. Understand the regional landscape of veterans services 2. Recognize the psychological impact of homelessness and poverty 3. Identify opportunities to serve vulnerable veterans throughout the year

Cost: none

Parking: $3/day on campus (pay at the Kiosk in front of the Colin Education Hall)
