Details: The Mindful Resilience/Mindful Yoga Therapy program consists of five tools and practices which are adapted and delivered to maximize their ability to undo the nervous system dysfunctions that underlie symptoms of stress-related conditions. A training programs will be described which provides yoga teachers and other healthcare professionals with the skills to safely and effectively use yoga as a complementary therapy in clinical and community settings. An experiential learning activity using breathing and movement will be offered.

Objectives: • recognize the self-regulation skills used to foster resilience and recovery • recognize the cycle of stress and avoidance symptoms • recognize the how this approach complements the phase-oriented approach to PTSD treatment • assess the applicability of breathing and movement activity to their field of practice

Parking: $3/day on campus (pay at the Kiosk in front of the Colin Education Hall)

Free CEs & Clock Hours: Workshop certificate documents hours of instruction toward Continuing Education. Clock-hour forms are available free upon completion of the workshop.
